In 1971, William Neri, already active in the trade of work gloves and rubber products, recognized the potential and dynamics of an emerging sector and founded Neri. The company quickly identified market needs, specializing in the marketing of work gloves and the first personal protective equipment. An advanced system, developed over time, guarantees complete control of the entire supply chain: from raw material selection to design, from production control to distribution, including sales, support, and logistics. Quality control is carried out directly at the production source and re-inspected before entering the warehouse. All suppliers undergo rigorous auditing and qualification processes to ensure high standards and consistent performance. ENVIRONMENT
NERI Safety is not only concerned with the safety of people at work, but also with protecting the environment we live in. This concrete commitment translates every day into responsible choices and long-term projects. Back in 2011, the company invested in a photovoltaic system at its Reggio Emilia headquarters, with over 2,100 m² of solar panels and a capacity of 225 kWp, enabling complete energy self-sufficiency and saving approximately 90 tons of CO₂ annually. This approach evolved with the launch of Greenbay, the eco-sustainable product line developed to reduce environmental impact throughout the entire supply chain. The products are made with recycled materials and low-impact processes, eliminating plastic from packaging in favor of biodegradable solutions. The fabrics used are GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified, guaranteeing the recycled origin of the materials, production traceability, and compliance with rigorous environmental and social criteria. Each product makes a tangible contribution to the circular economy: for example, each pair of Greenbay gloves gives new life to a 500 ml PET bottle. This integrated approach reflects NERI Safety's desire to create a sustainable balance between industrial development and environmental responsibility.
